Undermountain Farm participates in the Western New England Professional Association ( WNE-PHA ) which holds a series of local shows that are professionally run to provide an introductory experience to the competitive world of the show ring. These shows are suitable for the new rider and also provide a great deal of fun and challenge for adult and junior riders of all abilities without being extremely expensive and stressful.

Undermountain Farm Horse Show Calendar
UMF holds several shows as scheduled. You are welcome to visit. Please call ahead. Sometimes a show might be cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Some shows are affiliated with the Western New England Professional Horsemen’s Association. Others are Open Schooling shows which are open for any riders to participate in. Open Schooling Shows are not affiliated with the WNEPHA.

Guided Trail Rides

Take a guided ride through our beautiful woods and scenic fields!  Please call ahead for reservations. Trail rides are scheduled by private party, and are available seasonally, weather permitting.  Available for ages 12 and up.


Weekly Events

After School at the Farm

UnderMountain Farm offers a farm-based program after school on Mondays and Wednesdays.


2 hour classes, 4 week sessions.

  • $240/session, Monday OR Wednesday – once a week.
  • $450/session, Monday AND Wednesday – twice a week.
  • Single class: $65 (Please register in advance)


This program will be centered on horsemanship, horse care and will include basic riding instruction. The class is not limited to horses but will also involve the other care of farm animals and include other elements of the farm.  Programs will also include crafts and art projects!  Monday classes will be tailored (but not limited) to children ages 9 and up. Wednesday classes will be tailored (but not limited) to ages 6-9. Siblings need not attend separate days.

Ladies Night!

Plan your next girls night out with your friends or come solo and ride with us!  Ladies Night is held one night a month (dates vary) from 6pm to whenever!  The price of your fun night out is $40, where you will get to groom, tack, ride, and enjoy some fun with your favorite farm people post ride!
